Full Casablanca to Marrakech Itinerary
Your driver meets you at Casablanca airport and you head straight to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, rising right over the Atlantic. A guide is included.
After your visit, settle in for the scenic drive to Fez.
Start at 9:00 with a local guide and step into one of the world's oldest medinas. Wander through lanes of craftsmen, tanneries and centuries-old madrasas.
The rest of the day is yours to rest or explore at your own pace.
Leave Fez and cross the Middle Atlas, with its cedar forests and wide plateaus, before following the Ziz Valley south into the desert.
By late afternoon the dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. You've reached Merzouga.
Explore the Merzouga region by 4x4, with a local driver who knows the desert tracks, the villages and the best viewpoints over the dunes.
Spend the night in the Sahara, under a sky full of stars.
Drive west and stop at the Todra Gorge, where rock walls rise hundreds of meters above a thin green oasis.
Continue to the Dades Valley, arriving as the evening light warms the cliffs.
Meet your guide at 10:00 for a full day in one of Morocco's most dramatic valleys. Hike through canyons and rock formations, with a picnic lunch along the way.
Go at your own pace, with plenty of time for photos and rests.
Travel on to Skoura, where a guide takes you on a 3-hour hike in Agouti, followed by lunch.
Afterwards, settle into the quiet of the palm grove.
Meet at your hotel at 10:00 for a mountain-bike ride through the Skoura palm grove, past mud-brick kasbahs and shaded irrigation channels.
A traditional local lunch rounds off the morning, and the afternoon is free to relax.
At 10:00, walk through Ait Ben Haddou with a local guide. This UNESCO-listed mud-brick ksar has appeared in many films.
Then cross the High Atlas to Marrakech and settle in for the evening.
Start at 9:30 with a local guide and discover the heart of Marrakech: its historic monuments, its souks and its famous square.
The afternoon is free for shopping, a hammam or a last mint tea.
After breakfast, your driver takes you to Marrakech airport, timed to your flight.
