Full Tour Itinerary
Depart Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit the historic UNESCO Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. Travel through the Rose Valley to stay for the 1st night in Dades Valley.
Explore the magnificent 300-meter-high Todra Gorges canyons. Continue through Tinghir and Erfoud fossil village to reach Merzouga. Relax at a desert hotel by the edge of the dunes for your 2nd night with dinner.
Enjoy a full day around Merzouga! Listen to spiritual Gnawa music in Khamlia village, visit authentic desert nomad families under their tents, and explore Rissani's lively market. In the late afternoon, camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset, and sleep in a luxury Sahara camp under the stars.
Wake up early for a spectacular desert sunrise over the dunes. Depart towards Ouarzazate via Berber villages like Alnif and N'kob. Drive through Morocco's longest palm grove in the Draa Valley and Agdz, arriving in Ouarzazate for dinner and your 4th night.
After breakfast, visit Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate and drive through the scenic Ounila Valley to visit the historic Kasbah Telouet. Ascend the High Atlas Mountains once more and arrive back in Marrakech by late afternoon with drop-off at your hotel/Riad.
