A journey that started at home.

My name is Abdelkarim, known as Karim, and I come from the Dades Valley — a region of dramatic mountains, ancient villages, winding roads and a strong local culture that has shaped who I am.

My journey into tourism began at home, in the Dades Valley.

Before tourism became a profession, I was already connected to the people and landscapes around me. I began taking travelers into the region, including journeys to meet nomadic families and discover places far beyond the usual tourist routes.

Those early experiences taught me something that no guidebook can fully explain: Morocco is best understood through the people, places and moments you encounter along the way.

Over time, I learned more about local traditions, communities, landscapes and the different ways people experience Morocco.

Tourism became more than a job. It became a way of sharing the country I know and love with people coming from around the world.

Over the past seven years, I have worked as a professional driver with major tourism companies, traveling extensively across Morocco and gaining first-hand experience of its roads, regions and destinations.

I speak Arabic, Tamazight, English, French and Spanish, allowing me to communicate with travelers from different backgrounds while remaining closely connected to local communities.

My connection to Morocco is not only through its landscapes. It is also through its culture, music, food, traditions and everyday life.

I enjoy playing traditional Moroccan drums, and music has always been one of the ways I connect with people. Sharing a rhythm around a fire, drinking tea with a local family, talking with villagers or simply stopping to enjoy a landscape can sometimes become more memorable than the destination itself.

After years of working in tourism and traveling across Morocco, we created VastMoroccoTours to bring this experience together in one place.

Our purpose is simple: to create private Moroccan journeys based on real local knowledge, personal attention and the freedom to travel at your own pace.

We do not believe every traveler should follow exactly the same route.

Some people want to explore the Sahara slowly. Others want mountain walks, ancient kasbahs, local food, photography, culture or time with communities.

We listen first, then build the journey around the traveler.
